The Mahasu Devta Temple is a fine example of Himalayan wooden craftsmanship combined with stone carvings. The temple’s pagoda-style roof, intricately carved doors, and wooden panels depicting mythological scenes showcase the rich art and culture of the region.

The blend of Hindu and local hill architecture gives the temple its unique aesthetic and spiritual aura.

One of the most celebrated events here is the Mahasu Devta Fair, held every year in August. Devotees from Himachal and Uttarakhand gather to witness vibrant cultural performances, Nati dance, traditional music, and processions of the deity.

The Jagda Fair and Thadiya Festival are also celebrated with equal enthusiasm, making Hanol a center of faith and festivity.
